January 2024, the AVONTUUR, our majestic sailing cargo ship that aims to rekindle the age-old tradition of sustainable, wind-powered shipping went alongside the Gloucester terminal on Delaware River opposite the bustling town of Philadelphia.
\nThe AVONTUUR, laden with 70,000 kilograms of ethically sourced Colombian coffee beans, stands as a symbol of a new era in maritime transportation, combining the romance of seafaring with a commitment to environmental responsibility.
\nWith the coffee successfully delivered to the consignee, Caf\u00e9 William, the AVONTUUR set her sails once again last Sunday, bidding farewell to Philadelphia. Captain Cornelius and his crew, invigorated by the positive reception, despite the chilly temperatures, prepared for the next leg of their journey, yet another transatlantic voyage.

The opening took place on December 2 and we would like to thank the neighbourhood for the warm welcome! In the run-up to Christmas, the new location has already been explored, and not just by the people of Bremen. We are delighted with the enthusiasm and positive feedback we have received and are very motivated to continue working with you to make the transportation of goods more sustainable.

\nThe AVONTUUR, laden with 70,000 kilograms of ethically sourced Colombian coffee beans, stands as a symbol of a new era in maritime transportation, combining the romance of seafaring with a commitment to environmental responsibility.
\nWith the coffee successfully delivered to the consignee, Caf\u00e9 William, the AVONTUUR set her sails once again last Sunday, bidding farewell to Philadelphia. Captain Cornelius and his crew, invigorated by the positive reception, despite the chilly temperatures, prepared for the next leg of their journey, yet another transatlantic voyage.
\nAVONTUUR’s next destination is the port of Horta, Faial, Azores, where she will load Gin, Tea and Wine and continue to prove that wind-powered shipping is not just a romantic notion but a viable and essential solution for a more sustainable future. \nLAUNCH IN NEW HOME PORT BREMEN<\/strong><\/span><\/h1>\nWe are delighted with the successful launch of our store and caf\u00e9 for sailed goods in Ostertor in Bremen. The opening took place on December 2 and we would like to thank the neighbourhood for the warm welcome! In the run-up to Christmas, the new location has already been explored, and not just by the people of Bremen. We are delighted with the enthusiasm and positive feedback we have received and are very motivated to continue working with you to make the transportation of goods more sustainable.

It smells wonderfully of coffee, timber and chocolate, and the different types of rum are presented in their various colours, from light gold to amber and dark caramel.
